This is short account of our participation in the league
Church Boys United Football Club played the first ever league in the history and the club became champion in the very first appearance.
5 times we attempted in the qualification round, and when we were qualified, we became champion in our first participation in C division, and next year we played B division, we were champion again and was promoted to A Division. We played in the A division league and we became champion in 2023 back to back.
We had 28 players in total, 3 of them were Africans, 2 of them were Indians, and the rest were Nepalese Players.
League lasted for 100 days and we spent nearly 6 months preparing for the game.
Club had set back during the first round. Our main coach, Pradip Humagain, departure due to work permit was a worry point and we had to look for a new coach. Bal Gopal Maharjan agreed to drive the club for the rest of the league time and the club showed itself becoming champion under his leadership. Our two players grabbed the title out of four, Ananta Tamang became most valuable player and Yves Priso became best goalkeeper of the entire league. Four players supported us from the beginning. They were in C Qualify, C Division, B Division and in A Division. The club got 7500000Npr from the first cash prize. Club spend nearly 25000000Npr, Equivalent to 187000USD in the League.

League looks like not going to happen sooner. 2023 was the 45th edition of Martyr Memorial A Division League. 46th edition will happen in 2024-2025 but the exact date is not confirmed. There are 14 first division teams competing.
